This becomes now very simple and easy!
WhatsDay makes the number of days until a specified event permanently visible on your Homescreen directly inside the app icon itself. The remaining days are therefore constantly visible without opening a calendar app.
Whatsday is a simple reminder-app (e.g. birthday reminder) and sends Push Messages as a reminder (like messages from WhatsApp). Simply insert a date and an event like using a calendar or planer and it is always visible on the Homescreen how many days are left. Just have a look at the countdown within the icon!

Just one event possible.
I will come and modify my rating if the developers change this. It should be possible to have more than one event. However, it is important to let the notification on the icon for the NEXT event and, once the event has come, indicate a 0. The next day, the number on the icon would be updated to the number of days left for the NEXT Event in the list. If this app did this, I would rate it 5 stars right away.

Not working
It doesnt Work , it opens , and you click on anything , it shutdown ! Consider this before your purchase ,

The app WOULD NOT WORK AT ALL RIGHT AFTER DOWNLOADING. I repeated the process with same result. They should refund the $0.99!

Crashes every time I try to open it. Just stuck on original download date of New Years. I should have listened to all the other 1 star reviews. Complete garbage.
